Do you have to have a mouse to swim underwater?

I was playing on a laptop with no mouse...while moving forward, press "x" (or sit) and you'll go underwater. The more you press x, the lower you go. Tap the space bar to come up.

press 'x' to submerge, and the space bar to surface. It's not nearly as flexible, but it gets the job done,

alll you need is to jump with the space bar, and jump into the water. If it is deep enough, you will be able to swim!

you need to hold the left click down and point down into the water with cursor.
