errrr!!! interesting question.
i would consider few facts into account before ask someone out. firstly i would want to see her face on the display picture and would have communication with the person then i would add her on my yahoo messenger and chitchat for a while and share things u knw and then if i feel we have a connection maybe i would ask her out lol.
