I don't understand how so many people can think a first lady has no power.
Anyone would like to have that kind of power over people and then some.
What about all the people that worked under them, that she put out-of-work. (Uh, Chung).

Hillary had no so to speak powers ....but a a tenant of the white house if I were the landlord I would have evicted her....She is mean and rude to employees, they stole stuff when they left, glued keyboards, had guest stay that not to mention I don't even know if they knew who they were except maybe they had money. If anything hillary showed lack of any power in her personal surroundings. I say once a tenant is out they are out......

What powers does the Constitution of the United States grant to a First Lady?

The First Lady has no powers granted by our laws except those given by others who are elected. The only power Bill granted her when he was in the White House was to draft legislation for universal health care. Her plan failed and she did nothing else the entire time (with a dem congress no less). So, my answer is no, she did not abuse her powers.

She did not have any powers. She had a lot to say because she was the first lady.

A more meaningful question would be, "is there a politician who has NOT abused their powers while in the White House?"
