Magicians perform magic tricks and illusions. Magic in its most basic sense is simply something that has not been explained by science. If you took an i-pod back in time even just 20 years, the technology would be indistinguishable from magic. There is no such thing as 'real' magic - that is anything supernatural.

Magic exists. Try looking up the religion Wicca. Other key words that might relate: Pagan, Neo-Pagan, Witchcraft.
This magic isn't the hollywood-style stuff you see on tv. Its much more subtle, and much more powerful and deep.
As for card tricks and other illusions... well, they're illusions. May take practice, camera angles, and a pinch of magic to pull off corectly, but they're still illusion and tricks.

Magic is a well-known component of witchcraft - condemned by Scripture. It is the attempt to control nature &/or people by the use of spells and other rituals. It can be successful, usually by collaborating with demonic powers. Has nothing to do with Christ or the Holy Spirit.

I believe both.
Both still come from the theory of deceiving persons. So yes a person can be quick and fool someone in a shell game, but also much of majic is spiritism, and can have real effects on people that open themselves to that.

Yes, magic can really happen, but it takes different forms aside from tricks and illusions. Some of it is supernatural and divine, others are diversive, evil and hellish. Haven't you experienced magic in your life? I know that I have.

It exists, but these days most people call it quantum mechanics. The scientists studying quantum physics don't really understand it yet, but it's what Witches have known for millennia.

I believe that spells give people confidence to try what they otherwise would not try. In a sense, they do work.
If you are referring to the casting fireballs from your fingertips while flying on a broom......no that is not a reality.
