you're right of course, but you've been round here long enough... hasn't it always been like that?
i don't mind questions on a wide variety appearing on the scottish football section, after all, for a lot of us, the football season and the conotations of a football match, stretch well into our everyday life... and i like the off the wall, irrelevant questions of which ssb is a doyen. i like the wind-up questions and the questions that go on and on.
what your referring to though, i suspect, is lenny murphy and his 'kill taigs, tarriers, i love it...' and a few (minority) others who encourage it.
you know that it's attention seeking and if you don't like it you could always report it. but reporting is still giving attention so you're still biting the hook. then again asking this question is still giving attention as is my answering it so i'll

eigh well i did have a wee discution about my hat but i fired a fitba question in with it to cover my @ss. I don't like seeing all the kill this lot and that lot questions it makes me feel a little queasy and i'm usually feeling queasy enough on a Sunday without any help
