the blower motor receives a battery feed from the relay. the switch on the dash sends ground to the resistor on a different wire for every blower motor speed. high speed does not run through the resistor. all other speeds send the groung through a metal coil that resembles a toaster coil. this is what steps down the speed. when the blower motor only works on high, 98% of the time the resistor is bad. it will not be the blower motor. the resistor is right above the right strut tower, it snaps into the firewall. you will see the connector. it is hard to get the connector off, and it is a pain to get the resistor to snap out, just pull. many times the wiring going into teh resistor is melted and you have to replace teh connector too. the resistor and connector are available at your dealer, they are not ecpensive.

first i would try an auto parts store.
if that fails a salvage yard.
as a last resort the dealership for they would probably be
most expensive.
you can save time by calling, using the phone instead
of driving around.
phone book should list plenty of all of the three type of
places. saqlvage yard the cheapest.t
and may have a short warranty. good luck.
