Well, I'm a twelve year old girl and my best friend is having a paintball party. Soo, I've NEVER been before. Just to check, is this good to wear:

legs: tights, leggings, THICK socks (ie football or hockey socks), jeans and maybe something on top

top: shortsleeved shirt, longsleeved shirt, jumper ?and a coat?

and I have ski gloves and a scarf!

Well, is that good? It is winter so I shouldn't boil. I'm really looking forward to it.. and I can usually take pain quite well! Where's the worst places to get hit?

Make sure your jeans are baggy.... all your clothes are baggy so they absorb the shock of the paintball when it hits you..... they are not that bad.... they might sting a little... but it isnt that bad.... dont let it scare you.... just go out there and have fun.... you might even get hooked on it!

A couple years ago my brother took me and I wore shorts, loose jeans, a t-shirt and a loose sweatshirt and i was protected pretty well. The socks are a good idea.... wish I would of thought of it. I think you're going to be fine, you might not feel anything with all the clothes your going to wear.

You will get few bruises and welts, but other than a sting for a minute, it doesn't hurt.

I got hit on the inside of the wrist and that hurt the most for me.

Good luck!

PS Remember to wear your old clothes.

I used to play in a Tshirt, and protective gear (if you know what I mean).

One day I got shot 26 times. I know, because I counted the welps and bruises.

If you really don't want to get hurt, get some insulated hunting coveralls. Unless you are shot point blank, you will not feel it as much.

However, wearing that kind of gear causes you to sweat profusely when you are running in the woods (or whereever you are going to play).

That is why, after about 10 minutes of getting shot, I dropped them for a short sleeve shirt and long pants (and my protective gear, if you know what I mean).

Sure, it took about 6 weeks for them to go away, but I was a terror in the woods as I am an aggressive Paint Baller. (It was September in the deep south too Hot!)

it hurts like a bee sting but the pain only lasts for a second. If you get hit at point blank ranke it leaves a huge bruise so dont be afraid to surrender if needs be!

Most places provide a boiler suit overall which absorbes a lot of pain(t) but i reccomend wearing a hoodie to go over the back of your mask cos getting a shot to the back of the skull stings a bit to say the least!

ive done it a few times and wear the bruises like badges of honour

Some places dress you in coveralls so that your cloths are not at risk. You will enjoy it as it is like playing soldiers but the missiles only mark and do not hurt. You wear goggles over the eyes.
Have a great day. You will remember it for a long time.

You brave thing!!
I went once and it hurt bad!! I would pad yourself out big time, you also get given a pair of overalls to wear.
It hurts everywhere you get hit. One place is no worse than another.
Don't forget that when you are running about, you will get a sweat on. Don't wear to many layers!!
Good luck, you might be good at it and do all the shooting and not get hit much yourself.

Definitely pad yourself out!! What you're planning on wearing sounds good to me. I've only been once, it was so much fun but I got hit loads on the butt (damn boys!) and had huge blue bruises for a week or 2, owww!
