The Olympus was released in 2005. The Pentax is now in its 4th. edition: K100D, K110D, K100D Super & K10D.

The K100 series all are 6.1mp cameras. The K100D & K100D Super have Image Stabilization (IS) in the camera body (the K110D doesn't) and the K100D Super adds dust removal technology. The K10D is a 10mp camera with dust removal.

Every K-mount lens ever made will mount on these cameras. They will be manual focus but you'll have the advantage of IS with them.

If it were my money the K10D would be my choice. You can probably find the K100D at a lower price though.
