1. Nothing can come from nothing. Therefore, there was always something (be that God or not).
2. Nothing is greater than God, at least that's how it goes. I don't believe in God. I'm greater than God.

God is one and only.
God the Absolute and Eternal.
He begets not nor is He begotten.
There is no likeness of Him.
No vision can grasp Him, but He grasps all vision, He is beyond comprehension, yet He is acquainted with all things.
No one created him.
nothing is greater then God.

God existed from the very beginning and has no ending. He is the most powerful living spirit and he is the mightiest.

"Johnny, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it."

1. God is the creator out of nothing, he is an uncreated creator, so he does not have beginning....if you believe in him, you will not question like this are you/ or maybe you are just hooked up with some philospophical notions on God, friend, reason is not enough, have faith as well...
2. I don't know....

Second one first: nothing
first one: unanswerable. just as unanswerable as where did the matter/energy of the big bang come from?
But your question assumes god is physical and is a creation...as god exists separately from the physical creation, the question is meaningless as there is no frame of reference conceivable to an inhabitant of the physical universe.
