People actually think dinosaurs lived with people over 4500 years ago. It's so funny! These people think those vague mentions of creatures in the Bible like the behemoth and the leviathan are supposed to account for thousands of different species of dinosaurs. I mean you'd think there would be more mention of GIANT LIZARDS walking about killing people in the Bible. I suppose the Bible writers had the same historical discretion as the Egyptians did with the Hebrew slaves; they just couldn't believe their eyes so they chose not to write about it. Apparently..

hiya. The imaginitive days in Genesis are patently sessions of time exceeding photograph voltaic days. One occasion is seen in its descriptions of floral develop, which of course exceeded a daylight hours era for a photo voltaic day. to that end, the dinosaurs in all probability known for the duration of the early element of the 6th imaginitive day. The unsleeping! of two/8 1990 p. 11 reported: “The massive array of dinosaurs with their extensive appetites could have been appropriate thinking the sufficient flowers that of course existed of their time.—Genesis a million:20-24. while the dinosaurs had fulfilled their purpose, God ended their existence. however the Bible is silent on how he did that or while. we can be beneficial that dinosaurs have been created by employing Jehovah for a purpose, regardless of if we don't totally understand that purpose right this moment.” to that end, curiously maximum sensible that the dinosaurs have been extinct while Adam and Eve have been created, as we people respond greater valuable to mammals and birds that dominate the biosphere. (For the checklist, activity 40-40-one would not describe a dinosaur or an extinct marine reptile yet in basic terms hyperbolizes large beasts.)

They don't.
It is surely clear that, when the bible was cobbled together, ancient history was totally unknown; paleontology hadn't even been considered at all and so the scribblers of the time only wrote about what they either knew or imagined that they knew.
The biblical 'beast' reference quoted above is a very weak attempt to reconcile the absence.
Besides which, is anyone expecting us all to accept that mankind existed at the same time as dinosaurs did, when we all know this to be not so.

I've never read anywhere in the Bible about dinosaurs playing. Though I have read about the leviathan frolicking in the oceans. Personally, I think the dinos were on the earth before Adam and Eve were created. It doesn't say the earth was created at the same time they were, just the 'surface'. I believe it was recreated after "The earth had become formless and void".

They don't! You wanna know why?! Because when people wrote the bible dinosaurs hadn't been dicovered. They didn't know to write about 'em.
I don't believe in god. I believe that a group of people in govenment form wrote it. Which makes much more sense, if god is all knowing he should of known we would question the absence of dinosaurs in the bible. I find their existence to be very important, why would he leave them out. Mainly because it also wouldn't go along with the story of adam and eve and how animals were created. Why would he have created dinosaurs and then kill them off, or whatever you believe, just to then create adam and eve?

An animal described in the bible that was once believed to be a hippo is now interpreted as a dinosaur to validate the theory that the earth is 6000 years old and dinosaurs and man lived together. I couldn't tell you where it is in the bible, though.

The people who wrote the bible didn't know about dinosaurs, of course! I'm sure they would have put them in there if they did, though.

Nowhere simply because it is not important to the message of the bible.
while the bible contains scientific and historical facts, it is not, nor claims to be, a text book in either subject. rather it is a guide to living a moral life by God's laws.

Job chapter 40:15-24
15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
