it takes you to your own head....
self truth takes 'us' nowhere. self inplies that it is to one person, and one person only. many people can follow their own self truthes, but they are all on different rodes and not all of them head in the same direction.
self truth is simly what you believe to be true because of what you have found by examining yourself. it takes you to deeper understanding of yoruself.
as for where the self truth goes from there, there are differnt phlosophies that encompas that... some say to know yourself is to know all things (this includes others, or atleast encompases some parts of others). Other philosophies say that knowing self is all you need to know....
but all of these are external ideas, not internal truths.
what you do with what you know is up to you.

It depends on what one thinks the self is. If one is considering the self anything to do with this material body IE Race, Color, nationality, Religion, intellect, job, etc. which are material designations and so called self truths then that can lead one to another body in their next life. But if one takes up the process of Self Realization and comes to their constitutional position realizing ones self as eternal spirit soul, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul also known as Krishna,Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, Hari, etc) then this Highest Truth will take one to their eternal destination in the Spiritual Sky where there is no more suffering. Jesus said "know the truth and the truth will set you free."
We are all on a journey of enlightenment. We are here to learn, love and serve not our own selfishness, but to serve others less fortunate. Jesus also said "except ye become as little children, ye shall not enter the Kingdom" he was talking about simplicity, humility and the ability to LISTEN to your teachers. Self truth is the ability to accept your faults, be joyful for your gifts and turn your life around. To everyone there opens a high way and a low, each man decides which way his soul shall go. Self TRUTH takes us to immortality...
Once we can start accepting WHO we are, we become "enlightened" and having strength about WHO we are IS truth!
If you don't accept who you are, then how is it that you can be confident in anything you do?
You would shrivel up and live in fear of setting foot outside the door.. You would live in fear that you would get in an accident or something.
Self truth is understanding your past.
Truth about who you are is without a doubt HOW you became what you are.. this IS the truth!
If you completely denied who you are right now, and did a 180 on your life, would you be denying the "facts" that make you who you are?
What's behind you and what's within you is absolute TRUTH...We can see our future by teaching others how and why we became who we are... this leads to immortality (self truth).
