the first 2 images you linked us to are made with lights, coloured gels, and alot of study of "photography", - gels are coloured things you put over lights to change the lighting colours

the first two images are made in the camera far more than in photoshop - just like most great photography images,

the last two are a combination of photography and manipulation - most likely photoshopped and sorry cant help there im just a shooter

On the first picture there may be two ways that the person made the pictures. It's to either have multiple lighting and took a picture with a camera or simply Photoshoped it -- which can be done by making lots of colors on the picture and giving it a filter (I'm not sure what it is called but it can be found in the layers palette.

As for the second photo, the artist might have just added a wig. It could have been photo manipulation but that would be very hard to do.

Hope that helps. Good luck with your photoshopping.

Photoshop is complex and it takes a while to get the feel of it. There are some good books around that take you through everything step by step.

A Wacom graphics tablet is invaluable, couldn't do without mine.
