Sex is something that is very sacred, and should only be shared with someone you love when you are ready.
It is my personal belief is that if you don't know how to take care of yourself, the possibility of a child, and how to prevent pregnancy and STDs, then you are not ready.

Sin is purely a secular term? It is a sin because someone says that God says that it is.
Change cultures, change religions and you change what is considered a sin.
Dump organized religion altogether and you are then guided by your own moral dictates, not the dictates of a fluctuating religious consensus reality.
It is not an attempt to put down good moral judgment, however, the word sin is purely a religious taboo of a moral issue.
Sex is no different than any other moral issue.
BTW - if 58% of men and 51% of women admit to having an affair in a blind survey, there are an aweful lot of people talking out of both sides of their mouth.

Sex is sacred its a gift from God. It is not to be used as recreation of just to have a good time. Sex can be a sin if you have sex outside of marriage even within a marriage it should be for the gift that God has given it to us for to create life.

I would say that just going out and having random sex would be a type of sin but love making with your soulmate is never a sin.

Your teacher should not be discussing her views about sex with you. I am pretty sure that's illegal.
Sex isn't a sin. Sex isn't sacred unless you define it as such. Sex is the way we procreate. Period. Too many uptight people have made a huge horrible deal out of a wonderful sharing and basically corrupted the image of sex.

My friend, you seem like confused in identifying sex with sexual acts...they are two different things....Sex is part of God's gift to us, and that is good....but i would like to presume that you mean SEX as a sexual act, well, it depends....It is not a sin in itself, but it can cause you to sin if you would not do it in the proper context. Your sexual act is not sinful if you do it in the context of marriage whose purpose is both union of man and woman as well as procreation...However, if you do it, outside marriage, or even before marriage, and your purpose is just for pleasure and for self-gratification, then it is indeed sinful...
lastly, SEX is different from Sexual act, don't be confused next time...

It is not a sin if you are having sex with your own husband or wife but if you will have sex to another which is not your wife, it is sin. Premarital sex is also sin. Before your supposed marriage do not allow sex to be happen to you until you got married.
