Truth:It is much harder to believe in something you can't physically see with your own two eyes then believing in it.

Dare:I dare you to give believing in God a try, because I promise you, though you can't see Him, you will DEFINITELY know He is there.

I have been a Christian for a while and I have still had doubts about God, because it is man's nature to doubt. But time and time again he reassures me.

-God Bless!

Those of you who say you already tried and it didnt work, keep trying. Keep seeking Him and you shall find Him. You know He is there in your heart, I know you do.

. There is no Geological proof of the great flood.
2. Adam and Eve could not have existed because fossil records CLEARLY show that dinosaurs and earlier forms of life came 3 BILLION years before humans.
3. Evolution has shown that we developed from apes, we havn't just stayed the same.
4. The fact that there are religeons older than Christianity, why would Jesus come only recently, when humans have existed for roughly 2 Million years.
5. 'Angels' and messengers from God seem to only have appeared 2000 years ago, and very frequently, why don't they any more?
6. There are bad things in the world, why doesn't God stop them, if he loves us with all his heart? Letting someone suffer relentlessly, when you have the power to stop the pain easily, is not love.
7. A woman cannot have a baby and still be a virgin, simple as that.
8. There are things that ARE impossible, even to God, such as: you cannot add 2 and 2 to equal 198, you cannot take 6 away from 2 without equalling a negative number.
9. If god is so forgiving, why did he create a hell?
10. Why are children born dead, and with diseases and disabilities, they didn't do antyhing wrong di they?

Truth:It is much harder to believe in something you can't physically see with your own two eyes then believing in it.

that doesnt make sense. i am sure you are trying to say that it is harder to believe in something you cant see than something you can see. but really it is much easier to believe in God than evolution. You grow up believing in God. You have to learn about evolution. You have to reprogram yourself not to believe things that have been instilled in you since you could really listen.

Also you ask us to try and believe in God, well most of us did when we were young. Its what you are taught to believe. And then when we started having doubts, we prayed for guidance. And even years after receiving not having our prayers answered. We still prayed for assistance during tough times, even when we didn't believe anymore. We would be like "i know i am an atheist, but can if you do exist, now would be a good time to help me. if you help me through this, i will preach your word to everyone." and still nothing. so don't act like we haven't tried, cause most of us have. we just got a little wiser.

If you can see it with your own eyes, this negates belief, since it is now knowledge.
If I told you it was raining and you were inside, you could only choose to "believe" what I was saying or not. If you looked outside you would then "know "whether it was raining or not.
Similarly, if we were to see God, we would no longer believe in him since we would know he exists.
Without belief there would be no faith, no faith no religion. So it is God's interests for people not to know he is there.

Read Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams explains this better than me.

Nevertheless, is it more dangerous to base your life on something you believe in rather than on fact?
What if you believed it was OK to smoke cigerettes without looking any of the risks involved? People may "believe" it makes them feel good, but looking at the science behind it, we "know" that it will ultimately make them feel worse.

Belief can be a dangerous thing.

I believe there is a higher power. I do not believe that we have any right to presume which god is correct. I think all religions have their own ideas and there is something that we, as IMPERFECT humans cannot fully understand. I am not saying you are wrong for believing in Christianity, I was raised in that faith too. I am saying that we are not gods and shouldn't presume we know his name or what he wishes for us, except that we treat each other fairly and with respect. Be a good person and whatever god is listening will be pleased.

Addition: I find it very interesting that someone put a thumbs down to treating people with respect and trying to be a good person in general. I'd be interested to know this person's views. I guess its ok to be hateful if you do it in the name of your god? lol My point proven. Thank you!

Whoa, the boy who answered first has issues to deal with later on in the afterlife, acting like he is all-knowing. He doesn't know what is real and what is fake?? Funny, funny, I said awwwww...But Mad Props for spreading the word!!!! Love it! God bless u 2! Oh and I will take your challenge, even though the G-man (expression) has been in my world for a looonnngg time. Peace and love!

Ok totally had to come back and re-post something else-- yes, I am EXTREMELY opinionated and blah, blah, blah,..
but it is truly sad to see all these non-believers speak their rubbish with such conviction!! I mean get this,
to be a believer: things won't go your way, every things not perfect, BUT God is not there to HAND everything to you... he is there to give you the opportunity to do things for your self. If you pray for hmm..lets say money $ ..money isn't going to POOF appear but the opportunity for you to make money is always there..its what YOU do and choose to believe! He is there to guide and watch over..not to just FIX everything! Dur-dur...But I tell you this, when each one of you are about to kick over into the afterlife I bet you will be thinking OH ****!!!!
Peace, I'm done. GOD BLESS.... I am sooo sure there will be a lot of rude comments and little thumb pointing down ratings and know this, I (promise, with all my heart) don't CARE!!! Ok..outtie.

Truth: Is it hard to believe in Leprecauns? I mean you can't physically see them?

Dare: I have already tried believing in "God" well the God of Christianity and Judaism at least. But time and time again I have found that he is a man made creation like Zeus and Ra. It's common sense that leads me to this conclusion.

true. It is very hard.

Dare me and i've tried before. forcing myself into it, trying to believe, giving it my all in truth and honesty. I still can not believe.

I was raised in a home with a different belif.
I was tought to believe in myself.
I dont believe in god, I think people need a god to believe in because they always need to put the blame and cause for situations on someone\something else.

If I've gone wrong, I know it my falut, I caused it, I live and grow from it. god did not put me through this, to teach me or anyother. I can put a end to my life right now...regaurdless if god thinks its my time to go or not...

but hey, I dont believe thats easy for me to say though i do respect those who believe.
I am jewish btw.

I'm sorry, but my mommy taught me to never take dares! She said that only manipulative people make dares. Are you a manipulative person or did your mommy just not teach you right from wrong. This God person you're talking about must not be very nice either if people have to be dared to even consider believing in Him.

A wicked man could not really understand the truth. Have faith in God so you may understand the truth.
Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
