Roman Catholic Church members are false christian and have false religion because they worship idols or images made of wood, stone or piece of paper from a calendar or printed materials.
Protestant are former catholics but they protested the teachings of the catholics but protestant church are also false religious belief because their doctrination came from the catholics and do not also follow the words in the bible but have their own doctrine of belief.

You might want to ask are protestant Christians. Do you know where the word Christian came from . A hint it wasnt from a Protestant that word by the way was coined by German Princes. So to save you a little time here this is where the word Christian came from A Catholic Bishop

Evodius was the first Bishop of Antioch, and he is credited with being the first person to call the followers of Christ, "Christians", as shown in Acts 11:26. See Eusebius, book 3, chapter 22.

Saint Ignatius (35-107), the second Bishop of Antioch wrote a letter to the Smyrneans in 107 A.D..
In this letter is recorded the first known use of the words "Catholic Church"...
Paragraph #8
"You must all follow the lead of the bishop, as Jesus Christ followed that of the Father; follow the presbytery as you would the Apostles; reverence the deacons as you would God's commandment. Let no one do anything touching the Church, apart from the bishop. Let that celebration of the Eucharist be considered valid which is held under the bishop or anyone to whom he has committed it. Where the bishop appears, there let the people be, just as where Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. It is not permitted without authorization from the bishop either to baptize or to hold an agape; but whatever he approves is also pleasing to God. Thus everything you do will be proof against danger and valid."

So are you a christian or a heritic or just stealing the word from the Catholic Church.

Most non-Catholic Christian denominations accept Catholics as Christians. A very few do not.

The World Council of Churches which brings together more than 340 churches, denominations and church fellowships in over 100 countries and territories throughout the world, representing some 550 million Christians accepts the 1.1 billion Catholics as Christians. http://wcc-coe.org/wcc/who/faq-e.html#07

A dictionary would say that a Christian is someone professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.

Catholics would fit this definition.

In the Nicene creed, from 325 C.E., Catholics profess:

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father.

Through Him all things were made.

For us and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried.

On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are baptized as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19, "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

We truly are spiritually "born again," we just don't usually use those words.

For a complete description of what Catholics believe, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/index.htm

With love in Christ.

Of course they are.

The breakup between the Protestants and the Catholics was not about the basic tenets of salvation, but about Catholic church tradition taking precedence over some basic points of scriptural interpreteation. Catholicism accepts some things that--although not necessarily wrong in theory, intention, or application-- have no scriptural basis.

Yes. Both catholic and protestants are christian. They differ in their beliefs.

Kiefer is wrong. Islam is not christian. It is one of the 3 monotheistic religions (the other two being judaism and christianity).

It does not matter what label that you put on the church. As long as you follow the plan of salvation that is spelled out in the book of Acts, you do not need to call your self anything but saved.

Catholics are Christians. They seem to have more power than other Christian religions.

RELIGION, n. A daughter of Hope and Fear, explaining to Ignorance the nature of the Unknowable.

"What is your religion my son?" inquired the Archbishop of Rheims."
"Pardon, monseigneur," replied Rochebriant; "I am ashamed of it."
"Then why do you not become an atheist?"
"Impossible! I should be ashamed of atheism."
"In that case, monsieur, you should join the Protestants."

Like Eve in the garden, they are deceived by satan.

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
