And what are possible solutions? Why does it say: "The Microsoft Office Template and Media ActiveX Control has failed to install. To try installing again, click Retry. To continue to use the site without the control, click Continue". It will not let me get past this.

What do I do?

Thanks!

My OS is Vista, if that matters.

Internet Explorer 7, right?

By default IE7's security settings are too high to even work properly on most of Microsoft's websites.

Try Firefox instead.

I was downloading templates last night and I got a message that microsoft verifies that your copy of office is genuine every time you try to download a template - I assume your copy of office is genuine, but if it's not that might be part of the problem. On the other hand, the first template I tried to download would not download and I tried it several times. BUT when I tried a different template it worked just fine. I tried firefox and didn't like it so you may want to try a similar template before swithching your browser.
