Yeah, what is the best way to deal with negative people. What's the best way to deal with cold hearted, evil people?
What's the best way to deal with people who are constantly staring? People who say mean things?
*I TEND TO IGNORE PEOPLE, OR I SAY SOMETHING WITTY?*
What are some other ways to build confidence, when I deal with so much criticism?

I guess the best way is to just accept that criticism will come your way, you will encounter negative people, and there's no avoiding it. If it is coming from someone you know and/or care about, then letting them know that their behavior is annoying or hurting you is the best route to take. If they do not change or adjust the way they deal with you, then maybe reconsider hanging out with them. There are a number of books (like "Get Out of Your Mind & Into Your Life" by Hayes) that may help with the cognitive side of dealing with such thoughts or worries, if they are a problem. Knowing that not everyone will like you, and that you will make mistakes, is a tough thing. But I guess most of the time dealing with such criticism on extremes - either lashing out or "taking it all the time" is not the way to go.
Exercise can help you deal with some of the negative emotions, such as stress or frustration, that comes with the issues you deal with. Doing cardio, weights, yoga, whatever, will give you the extra "boost" to help manage the bad feelings you may experience.

Don't ignore them: Negative, cold hearted, evil people really dont like them self's very much , and with you ignoring them doesn't make them fill any better and what does that say about you. Cold Hearted goes both ways, and for the people that are staring: Just look at them and say Hi..... you should try this it works, and you just might learn a little about the person and what made them that way to begin with...

Ignore them. As for dealing with criticism, be honest with yourself. If the criticism is a positive one, accept it and try to improve or try to correct what is being criticized about you. If it is a negative one, ignore it also. You should know yourself well, your strenght and your weakness. In that way, you can see if a criticism is a positive or negative one.

well criticism is not necessarily a bad thing, if it is constructive. Some one offering criticism without also offering some solutions is just not worth listening to tho. When someone criticises me, I always ask them what they suggest I do about it...sometimes you get some really good feedback and can make some improvements in yourself that way. For those who are just blowing hot air, they aren't worth notice.
