Jesus is not against you.He is for you.satan hates you because satan hates everything God created. And if anyone says it does not matter because I do not believe there is a God.That does not mean much.Have you experience being saved.Have you experinced Jesus filling you with peace and love.I have does this make me better? No it doesn't.Just forgiven.Have you experienced there is not a God?A negative never overcomes a possitive in the end.Who do you think had more people going to their funeral. The last Pope who had love in his heart .He forgave the people that shot him.or Ted Bundy.Good always overcomes evil in the end.God always overcomes satan.Jesus already defeated satan. But it takes a certain time for that to sink in folks hearts. Thanks for your time .Love Cindy

Taco I am saying Good overcomes evil.I am in no way saying that if you do not believe in God you are evil. The devil is evil and satan has tried to portray Jesus as being the taskmaster when it is satan that is evil.

Here is an more accurate questioning Good and Bad. Ask about two religious persons and there funerals from two different walks of life who are both considered good people by their followers - for example if Pope Benedict was to die on the same day that Anton LaVey (founder of Satanism), who would have more people attend the funeral?

Most likely Pope Benedict would but in reality how many people would go there because of the impact he personally made on there lives?

Very few indeed, almost every person who would attend the funeral would attend because of blind loyalty to the position he held and not because of who he was on a personal level. Whereas, if LaVey died there may be fewer people who attended the funeral but those who did attend would attend out of Loyalty to him and not to his church since he does not claim to be of a higher power like the pope (the pope claims to be the right hand man of God).

So basically what I am trying to say is do not hold your religion any higher than others and say that just because your religion has so many followers it is the correct religion - because no religion can be proven to be the right religion since religion depends on faith and faith is a personal attribute. And just because someone has faith in a religion that is not yours doesnt mean that person is evil - it just means they have a different opinion. Every religion, including Christianity, has evil attributes. Even my own religion, Judaism, has evil attributes. Thats what makes religions religions, they are man made and man ran. They may strive of faith but if no man had faith that there religion was good no religion would exist. And because a religion exists it means that it must have some good attributes.

Thansk for listening to my little rant. Love the Gay Rabbi.

I've been through a lot and I cannot say religion or Jesus or any other deity is to blame. It's me. I won't beg for anyone's pity as only I can get out of my troubles. I have a hard time accepting any one higher being as the one that got us here; all I know is we have to scientifically work it out.

Even the scientists get to a road block and depend on a leap of faith, though. At some point, you have to believe in something.

Bottom line is that it's not as cut and dried as you make it. If you had been born or raised young in Dar Es Salaam instead of the USA, you would not be able to say what you say now.

Good night Cindy.

Cindy, I ultimately agree with you, but this is borderline a rant. You answer your own question, and it is obvious that your question is rhetorical. This is not really the forum for this. Besides, most of the arguments you make here are ineffective, circular, and out of context. For example, you may argue that someone who does not believe in God has not experienced the peace and love of belief, but they could easily counter that YOU have not experienced the peace and love of THEIR beliefs (or lack thereof). You presume that non-believers are unhappy or less forgiving in nature, which is simply not true, and even imply through your analogy that they are like serial killers (Ted Bundy? What the heck does he have to do with anything?). Insulting people who disagree with you is not an effective way of bringing them over to your side. I would reconsider this approach.

Cindy consider keeping them short. I really do not want to discourage you. Keeping the questions short means they are more likely to be read and have the desired impact. Long questions which are really sermons wont do it in this forum. I agree for the most part with your message but realize most people will not read them.

Yes, Jesus is not against me because I worship same God to whome he worshipped.

But this is you who made Jesus something he never claimed and associated lies to which he never said. This is you who rejected message of Jesus and accepted message of church.
