You know....When I go to a restaurant, I tip the waitress with the best service, as nice as they are to look at, most guys know, if they tip the hot waitress, they will not receive any "favours" from them anyway.
When I am enjoying a nice meal, service definately comes first.

sorry, not a guy, but in answer to your question, YES prettier waitresses receive larger tips. i used to wait tables, and i made tons of money, i had several customers that would tip anywhere from 40$ to 100$... i loved it.. if i didnt have kids, i would go back to it :)

Unfortunately, I have seen average waitresses get less tips than the prettier ones. I was one of them that got more tips, and it ticked me off. Looks aren't everything and people should pay more attention to service than to the looks of their servers.

take care of the lady at the table, always, no matter what... and the tips will be better, the man wants his woman taken care of and when a lady goes out she expects to be taken care of, if that is done, the tips will be the best! as far as looks, you want to look you best at wok, take care of yourself, you dont have to be a "10", but the time to make yourself look nice when you go to work and it will make a difference, no matter what your occupation.
