Who analyzes situations more- men or women?

It totally depends on the individual. Gender has nothing to do with it. Both genders, if surveyed impartially would yield similar results regarding the analysis of situations and the quality of decision-making.

My family is a very good example. My cousin sister (She's the closest I have. I'm an only-child) is better than me at analysis of real-life problems (Not better than me at analyzing at math and science problems though!). But my dad rocks my mum in decision-making and analysis. Both my grandparents (maternal) are the brains of the family.

I've read quit a few studies on this particular matter, and they say as follows.... Women will analyze a situation till they come to some kind of conclusion that they feel comfortable with. They analyze more deeply, and factor in many possibilities to rule out the least likely to work. Men on the other hand, analyze things over and over again. They usually don't come up with a conclusion, they don't dive as deep into analyzation, and may be thinking of something else at the same time... Basically women are more thorough, once finished with that thought, they make the conclusion, and do not think of it again... Men touch only on the outside of the situation, never come to a decision about it, but think about it many, many times over.
So basically each gender has there own way of doing things ...It would be hard to say who does "more" of it. Depends on the individual there.

Though being a guy I personally feel that in love life it is women who analyze situations more deeply.Majority of men are hasty in such situations and are many a times superficial in their decisions.Men want to become physical with their girfriends very fast without waiting for long.Whereas girls and women analyze many things before going deep into relationships.
Men are hasty,demanding and at times violent in their relationships with women.Very rarely we hear that women are hasty and violent.In cases of jilted lovers we will hardly find a woman.
Women are more patient,sincere and persevering in their relationships than men.
Women are more devoted in relationships than men.

It depends on personality, not gender. I know lots of men who could care less but as a woman - I want to analyze! It's who I am.

this is truly a sexist question.. men will prolly say men women will prolly say women.. the truth is that nether do it "more" then the other.. it depends on the person who is doing it.. i analyze my situation all the time.

definitely women!we dont only analyse and analyse situations even for a month after they happened but the fact is that in the end we make conclusions from the whole situation that are completely out of reality!!thats bad for us but more for men! these are who i really feel sorry about.... poor men!! :-)

well im only a female(lol) so i wouldnt know how men think, but i think that women do. because im thinking about it most of the time, either my friends love lifes, whats going on in my life, or even over hearing someone elses problems.

Everyone analyzes, it's just different things that get analyzed.
A woman would analyze how much cash he has.
A man would analyze her bra size.
(generally, not always.)
