there isn't going to be a best answer to this Question as every answer tell the way that person wants his life to be(best to him/her).
& as making others happy is one of the important aspect of life
for the same reason i will make every answer as best for them who wrote that .....

Be a good friend, do a good turn to others, help someone substantially, be really useful to someone or to society around -- in short make life meaningful, without expectations in return! (make someone happy with my music, my company, my humour, my listening ability.....make someone feel relieved with my sense of responsibility and ability to help out!)

I want very badly for my poems to be published. I sent 3 poems to a contest on Jewish experience and I sent a few poems to a journal.

I have been published in one journal, but I feel I must be published elsewhere and then maybe I will feel I am a REAL poet.
