I think you just see more Q&A from the atheists. The religious are out there but you don't see them unless you deliberately design questions to draw them out.

Honestly, I think it has something to do with the type of population that has time and inclination to be on the internet this much. Studies show that most people who spend a lot of time on the internet are well-educated, open-minded and more liberal politically. This also describes the segment of society that does not identify themselves as Christian. Those two facts together would tend to make R&S seem a little skewed. But have no fear. Pat Robertson is forming a group of people who will have no job other than answering Q's with a Christian bent - OK, so I have no idea if that's true or not, but it doesn't seem to be outside the realm of possibility.

i'm a theist, and have constantly been very curious some huge form of religious ideals and philosophies. i don't think of that interest is constrained entirely to believers. it ought to be that many atheists even have actual questions approximately particular religious ideals and practices. considering the fact that it rather is a communicate board on faith and spirituality, it rather is a physically powerful place to seek for solutions to such questions, not from some chilly encyclopedia, yet from actual practitioners of those religions. additionally, many of the atheists i be attentive to have spent time analyzing faith, to the element that they have got examine the Bible, Koran, and countless different religious texts, and could debate them rather skillfully. yet another subset of atheists could be right here to sell atheism, that's their good. i think of there are as many motives for being right here, no count number if one is a theist or atheist, as there are contributors in this communicate board.

Well, some would say we're here to provide the sarcasm and the witty non-answers.
I suspect we're here because the state of religion weighs more heavily on the minority group out there in the real world.

To assume makes an "*** of U and ME". It's more than just a spelling meme.
I suspect that some people identified as Atheists are just supporters. Doesn't make them Atheist themselves.
My argument still stands. An absence of faith is still a form of Spirituality. & Atheists have as much right to be here as the rest of us ratbags.

well, depends on your timing. at times this forum is flooded with atheist's questions and then an hour or 2 later it's like it's the Christian's turn to flood the forum.
