Good luck with your kitten !!!

I have two spayed female cats and honestly, I really can't detect any changes in their personalities from before they were spayed and afterwards. Neither cat ever went into heat because both were spayed before that could happen. I think they really don't miss it because they don't know what happened to them. The only differences for me are that I can let them out without ever having to worry that they could get pregnant and they never go into heat. I've had some past experiences with that and I know how annoying it is to have a female cat in heat. They caterwaul constantly and are always rubbing against things and rolling on the floor. I have a relative who believes it's immoral to get a pet neutered or spayed and I have some misgivings myself but I figure if I can keep some unwanted kittens from being born, then the surgery is worth it.

I've experienced no negative changes after spaying my cats (six spayed females over the years).
The only noticeable change is no heat cycles and no unwanted kittens. They all remained as active and affectionate as they were before and didn't gain any noticeable amount of weight.
Spaying is definitely the most responsible choice you can make, and will let your cat live a happier, safer life.

I've fostered several cats before and after they were spayed, and I have one kitten of my own that was spayed after I chose to adopt her, and before I brought her home.
It's not likely that your cat will be less affectionate. If she is young, however, it is normal for her to go through a period of a few months where she is not as affectionate as she once was. This tends to happen around the same time many people choose to have their pet spayed. (5-9 months)
It's just a time when they are growing up and asserting their independence. It happens with male cats as well. Once they get over it, though, they go right back to being sweet and affectionate. :)

acctually when a cat is spayed, they become even more affectionate ! because they are no longer looking for another cat compaion especcialy a mate, they now turn to us for love, which is great for us, and the males wont pee everywhere, silly boys, i hope for the best, but at first, after the cat gets spayed, they may seem a lil down, only cause they are hurting, but they will go back to normal and even more loving soon..
