It's a very good question, one that I probably don't have a good answer for.
One of the things about Christianity is that, other than some sections like liberal Protestant theologies, it's really characterized by its attempt to resolve paradoxes. One of the key paradoxes it deals with is how the infinite Divinity can be contained in a finite human being. You get some pretty absurd attempts to rationalize the basic mythological concept, like saying Jesus was 100% human and 100% God. That's an obvious logical fallacy.
But if you allow the paradox to stand and don't attempt to rationalize it, then the truth behind the doctrine is pointing to the idea that the infinite presence of God was fully and completely contained and manifested in the finite human existence of Christ. And because that's the case, we can then have faith that God's infinite presence can be contained and manifested in our finite human existence as well. That's at least where I think the doctrine is trying to take us. Whether it gets there or not I don't have a good answer for you.
Peace to you.

My understanding of the Universe is that "God did do it" and that in no way interferes with my investigation into the Creator's machinations, that is the inner workings or quantum physics for any pseudo intellectuals out there. Life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved, therefore mysteries are a part of my life. Many things I can not even know, as my brain doesn't have the capacity. Some things like non-physical reality, my brain CAN conceptualize.I would like to know what god did that so enraged you. if god is everything, he must be of the dark side too. without wars there would be no generals or brave soldiers, no disease? no doctors or famous surgeons, death and birth are just two sides of same coin,

When Jesus took on flesh, he took on many of the limitations of the flesh.
That means he would have to grow into adulthood, just as any man would, learning practical skills (like carpentry) as he went. He would also need to keep the law, and do it perfectly.
And doing all this according to the divine will of his Father would indeed increase his favor with God, because Jesus' entire 33+ years of human existence ... not limited only to his death on the cross ... all served as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of the world ... an atoning sacrifice that was made by an authentic and genuine human person ... who also happened to be God.

Jesus entered this world as a human being, He was just as any person with a mind body and spirit. He had to take back what Adam gave to the Devil, He had to be tempted and tried in every way that man is now tempted with. He was faced with Satan trying to get him to bow to him just as Adam did, but he didn't. When we are born again we become like God in our spirit, but yet we are still flesh and blood, Jesus is our example to show us that because he overcame so can we

Jesus laid down His divinity when He came as a baby to this earth. He had to learn to read and write just like we do. When He did not understand something, He had to ask His parents just like you and I did when we were young. Imagine that, the Almighty God having to ask His parents to explain passages from the OT that Jesus Himself spoke to the prophets in the OT. It is beyond our comprehension. Jesus emptied Himself of His divinity when He came to this earth. He was totally dependant upon the power of the Holy Spirit just as we are to overcome sin. Thus, He increased in wisdom each day as He was taught by His parents and He submitted to the Holy Spirit. It is also said that He "learned obedience by the things that He suffered." Incredible that the Holy God had to "learn obedience."
