When I see one at a yard sale or thrift store I usually buy it. During the holidays I try to have a cooking baking night at home and we would make all kinds of cookies and fill the tins with them. People love to get a gift like that and it has that special kind of love built into it.

But you could save notes, pictures in that.
Basically anything you'd like.
Also you can use it as a decoration if it's decorated without words on it.
Another good idea is to make your own cookies and refill it with cookies.

u can put more cookies in it or other small pastries. Also,if u dont want to keep the tin, then u could put nice cookies or other pastries (whatever u want) into it and giv it as a gift to someone.

Put more cookies in it. Or you can make it an interesting box to keep notes or letters in. You could put candy in it, or just put anything you want in it, really.
