There are a couple kinds of reports. There is a report for "arrest" and there are reports filed for "informational purposes only."

Info Only reports do get forwarded to Probation, but since no arrest was made, we can't violate probation unless the report notes a technical violation. For instance, if your case was in my county and one of your conditions of probation was to stay away from your girlfriend, I couldn't violation probation for the argument, but I could violate you for being around her.

If the ONLY reason for the report was to document the argument (with no arrest) and you were not in violation of any of the other (non-statutory) conditions of probation, then I don't see a VOP...

You SHOULD call your PO, though, and let them know what happened. Believe it or not, that's the best way to alleviate a VOP... just let them know what's going on.

If his record is that shaky, he will in all probability get tossed returned interior. Up till his petty theft trial, it particularly is all in the palms of his probation officer. If he has a lenient one, he could be waiting to slip. in spite of everything, the only way he gets ANY leniency is that if he tells his probie what happened suited away! If the probation officer must be sure by ability of having a replica of those papers throughout the courtroom equipment, that boyfriend of yours will spend his time in a cellular till his petty theft trial. And, he'd in all probability additionally could stay there for his 2 last years, PLUS despite sentencing he gets from his petty theft case (which he could admit to and plea down as suited as available). yet, he desires to tell his probie. it particularly is his in easy terms threat. And, even then, it particularly is no longer a sturdy one.

If you had violated your probation, you wouldn't be online right now - you would be in jail.

If you weren't arrested, it "probably" won't affect your probation. To be on the safe side, contact your PO.

AN ARGUMENT WILL LIKELY GET NO ATTENTION.
BEWARE OF DOING IT AGAIN, SECOND REPORT IS SERIOUS AND THIRD REPORT IS WORSE.
DOCUMENTATION IS WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING AT A PATTERN.
