In the summer, I got a big, raised mole removed from my face and tested. Now 2 smaller moles are there. I have a few other smaller moles around my mouth area. I was wondering if the doc will remove all of them for me, even though they don't appear to be cancerous and just for appearance reasons?

I had a few moles removed a few years ago, just because I didn't like the way they looked. The doctor removed them with no hesitation.

One on my shoulder, and another by my breast, so I got insurance to cover them because I used the excuse of they irritated me, as that is where my bra was. The doctor thought up that excuse :)

What my doctor did was cleaned the area, numbed it, cut them off with a scalpel, cauterized (sp?) it so it would stop bleeding, and I was ready to go. He then sent them to see if they were cancerous, because with the size of they were they could be. Thankfully, they weren't.

Good luck, hopefully ya find someone to remove yours!

Talk to a dermatologist. Changes in moles could be an early sign of Melanoma, and you need to get them checked. Malignant Melanoma can be fatal.

Don't wait, call the dermatologist on Monday!
