In my state you would have to contact the the state secretary of state's office for info on this, there will be alot of permits to get and inspections on your house, alot of red tape to go thru. Good luck, it willbe a great blessing I am sure.

If you want this to be a nonprofit organization, then you need to find other people to serve on the board of directors (and be fiscally responsible for the organization), draft a hiring plan (you will need qualified professionals to work at this adult foster home), draft an operational plan, draft a fund-raising plan, show that the board and the staff will be experienced professionals regarding adult foster care, and check with your state regarding the requirements for operating such a home (which will be *extensive*).
