About three days ago, i found a black and white kitten under my neighbor’s car. I have been feeding her for the past three nights. She is extremely friendly, loves my lap, does not hiss, scratch, or bite me.
Well... the problem is that she is covered with flea dirt on her entire body and is constantly itching. I am sure the fleas are eating her up. She smells really bad and her breath is killing. She does not like to be picked up and scared to follow me to my house in the cold nights. However, she loves my company and comes running every time she sees me around that cars.
I just cannot see her in this condition, I want to take her to the hospital but i am not sure how can i do that. I can trap her but I cannot bring her home at night because of my parents. I cannot find her during the day time so I can trap and go straight to the vet.
What should i do? I can't trap her at night till morng.
Should I drop her at the animal shelter or go to the vet and then drop her to the shelter?

Vets would be a good idea first. If you can't keep her, then get her to a shelter after. The vet can give her some proper treatment for the fleas, and see about what's wrong with her breath - if she's a kitten it's unlikely to be dental problems. Bad breath can be a sign of herpesvirus or calicivirus in kittens. Get it help.

Steal the kitty so he can be Saved. It sounds like the kitty is in need and since you are able to provide vet care for him and know of a home that will take care of him, then by all means save the poor thing. Some people don't deserve the pets they claim to own.

Call a vet and tell them the times you noticed the cat outside. They may come out during those hours to pick the cat up. Also if you do take the cat to shelter be very careful because fleas can land on you and be transported to your home until a special pet friend comes by to visit.

You got any money in your piggy bank? You may be able to persuade a vet to sell you a pill called "Cap-star", and a dose of a flea/ ear-mite medicine called "Revolution". Total bill..maybe $10. Use the revolution on the cat first. Then roll that cap-star pill in some food..say...tuna...they love that.
The cap-star will drop dead every flea on this cat, but be advised, the dying fleas will make the cat crazy for about an hour. So put the revolution on first...laughing. This will work. It might sound scary...but this cat needs help!

shelter= no no!!!
you must take her to a local vet and they will decide

but animal shelters are alot of stress on the cat as it is and it smells really bad in shelters and you need to find a home for the cat go to a bakery or a cafe where most classy people go and ask to put up posters of the cat looking it's cutest is sure to be adopted but make sure you chose a good owner prefreabley with a young baby tiny cats don't like little kids at first.

This maybe kind of lame sounding but, could you possibly trap her in the early morning? like 4-6am? then she only has to be in the cage for a couple or more hours before you can take her to the vet. That's the best solution i can think of, plus when you bring her to the vet, they will either prescribe you with a anti flea repellent, or sometimes if you ask, they will give her a bath for you.

first question can u keep her? if not then yeah take her to the vet first. u say she like being in ur lap? well from there very slowly and gently carry her into your house. don't make a lot of movements cause this is what scares them. then take her to the vet and have her checked up and taken care of. if you cant keep her then ull have to take her to the shelter. its always best to take a good looking cat then a mangy flea one.

yes, you should take her to a vet, or if your parents let you have a cat, ask to keep her?
otherwise, if you can take her to a friends house and give her a bath with flea shampoo, or just shampoo if you dont have any flea shampoo, but if you cant, you shoudl take her to the vet and tell them the situation, or if you cant do that, take her to a shelter, they will take care of her :)

She needs a VET!! if you can't afford to get her fixed, flea dipped & have her teeth looked at then you should take her to a shelter.
