I was given percocet by my doctor for some stomach pains I have been having. I havent been hungry lately and havent been eating as much. When taking percocet do you have to eat before taking the pill?

I got the pills after going to my doctor for stomach pains. He then told me that my ovarian cyst might be swelling up or ready to explode so I was supposed to take them as needed but I cant stand eating much due to some boyfriend issues but cant stand the stomach pains either :(

Also it wasnt just some teenage dumb relationship. We have been together for almost 3 years and lived together almost the whole time. He moved in when I was 14 due to an abusive step father at home. He's been there for me through everything like my mom getting breast cancer and its not that I dont want to eat, everytime I think about it my emotions get in the way and I feel sick!

With any strong pain killer like that, it's usually best to eat something or at least drink a large glass of milk. Otherwise, the pill can make you sick to your stomach. Don't take it on an empty stomach.

eat somethiing small right before taking it, and something small again after it. And use it responsibly, it is very very addictive. Believe me, I've been fighting opiate addiction

omg,yes. you have to eat something before hand. omg, i have to take deoxycycline for my acne a while back, and damn, if i took that on a empty stomach, anything i ate after it would stay down fro more than 10 minutes....

You can get a message from him through his office.
Likewise, you can check with the pharmacy regarding the recommendations for taking the drug.

Only if it upsets your stomach. I have thrown up w/ them before. To be on the safe side just eat 1cracker.

there is a label on the bottle that clearly states take with food. so take with food
also no mad is worth starving over. dump this guy and eat your health is more important

nope! but everyone is different if they seem to bother you then just eat crackers or something light......is the pain caused by not eating tho???please email me!!!i really want to know how you got them for stomach pain????hope to hear from u!!!<3
