There is more written about The Lord’s Day / The Millennium in ISAIAH CHAPTER 40 to the end of the chapter than there is written about it in Revelation.

I meant to write above "to the end of the book", instead of "to the end of the chapter".

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Yep sure can, all the major stories in the OT are revealed by the light shed from the cross. Many theologians consider the OT as the infolded or gospel in shadow and the NT as the word revealed.

Take for example the storie of abraham offering Isaac as a sacrifice. Abraham is a picture of God willing to offer his only son(of legitamate marriage) isaac the sone willing to be offered, the wood isaac carried is symbolic of the cross, they left the rest of the partie behind beause the sacrifice and covenant was between abraham and his son, the lamb caught in the thicket is symbolic of Jesus also, dieing in place of Isaac, and on and on and on, every storie shows the work of God and Glorifies Jesus everytime!

All indications are that conscious life ceases until the time of Jesus' return when as the prophet Daniel recorded "Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt" (Daniel 12:2) In the New Testament Jesus speaks of the dead being asleep "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going to wake him up" (John 11:11). "The girl is not dead, but asleep "(Matthew 9:24). The Apostle Paul referred to dead Christians as sleeping until awakened by the last trump at the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:51 and 1 Thess. 4:14;5:10). The dead are simply dead; they have no life function; they are as if they were asleep awaiting a resurrection. Some of the dead will be resurrected to eternal life and immortality, some will be resurrected to physical life, and some will be resurrected to the punishment of eternal death. If the dead were already with God in Heaven, why would Jesus need to come back here and get them?

No. The OT is the law and man by his own actions satisfy the law. The NT is all about love and Grace. The NT is Jesus and it fulfills the law. Hope this helps

I see you have both 'yes' and 'no' answers. I would say, "Yes." The Old Testament describe, prophesies, and rejoices over what happened in the New Testament.

Those who said, "No" clearly haven't been taught about that. I wonder what they preach at those churches?

YES!!! The NT must be supported in the OT, otherwise, there would be no unity between the two.

GOD bless

I suppose so, in a way. The NT is the fulfillment of the OT.

Not even close. The two are so contradictory that an entire goup (you might have heard of them, Jews) consider the NT blasphemous.

Of course, I think they are both nonsense.

No.

The NT violates much of the OT.
