Wise - yes. Why? Because if Bush were to join the his actions in his war on terror, such as rendition, would be held to the ICC's standards... meaning it would take about 5 seconds for him to be charged with war crimes.

Of course I am being facetious because in reality it is very unwise to not join with the ICC... think about it. By not joining are we not saying we are no better than the terrorists... that we allow torture and condone war crimes... are we not putting our troops in greater danger... are we not giving the nation of Islam a reason to believe we are evil...

I am confused here, as every country is part of the International Court of Justice.
What is the International Criminal Court? Do you mean the International War Crimes Tribunal, which the US refuses to allow any of its citizens to be tried in, having passed laws in Congress to prohibit any US citizen being subject to the IWCT.

Absolutely.
Not only wise but it was advised against letting any other country take a hand in any least part of our sovereignty.

It's a pointless organization.. nothing more than a political toy. It lacks the power to enforce it's rulings on anybody who doesn't want to allow.. in which case any ruling by the court is pointless anyway.
