It sounds like your dog has tapeworms (which look like white rice). Eggs (ova) are too small to see without a microscope. If your vet sends the fecal sample out to the lab they use a special solution and centrifuge the sample down to see even difficult to find ova and parasites.
Tapeworms are spread when your pet eats infected fleas. Putting your pet on flea control should prevent any more infestations of tapeworms! The infection is easily treated with an injection but can recur if your pet eats another flea.

Usually the ova of parasites are microscopic and the vet can only see them after a preparation and microscopic exam. The exception is the segments of the tape worm - they are not worm eggs necessarily but a segment that can contain many microscopic eggs. They will look like moving littel squarish things when first emerging from the rectum and then they will look like pieces of rice after a few minutes in the air. If you see them you just need to let the vet know as they will not see them on microscopic exam and they take a different worming medication than the other parasites do. Why do you expect 'no comments' about kenneling your other dogs? Do you want people to help you with caring for one dog while ignoring neglectful care of four others you have? Pedigree is a horrible food on face - likely they are worm eggs given the manner in which your dogs are cared for ... you won't like that but hey, you won't listen anyway and I don't want anyone else to think it is an appropriate way to maintain dogs.

No, those are the worms themselves. The eggs are too small to see without a microscope. Be sure to take a poop sample with you when you go to the vet.

No, you cannot see worm EGGS in a dog's stool without a microscope. However, what you may have been seeing were tapeworm segments, which need to be treated sooner rather than later. Can you bump up your vet appointment?

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://tr.im/crAOY

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

sounds like tapeworm, your vet can do a stool sample and give you the correct medicine for your dog. Also, keep the fleas off the dog, bathe, frontline treat your yard! these fleas cause the worms!! And tapeworm wormer is not cheap!

Often you can see worm eggs in the stool, and sometimes the worms themselves.

Not a bad idea to bad and save the stool, so the vet can check to see if there is anything unusual and what kind of worm this is.

If they are worms you will see MANY more after getting treatment. They will die in the dog's intestine and then all come out in the bowel movements. Don't be alarmed though, this is normal and one way to know that they are out of the dog's system.

eggs are microscopic..you cannot see them with the naked eye...but you can see the actual worms themselves. If your dog has tapeworms..these will sometimes come out in small segments, resembling grains of rice. This could be what you are seeing.

Yup. The vet will give him pills for deworming. Fleas can bite the dog and give it worms also. Make sure you wash your hands well. Grosses me out. The guy I got my puppy from said he was dewormed and he wasn't because I saw those white things.
