Recent reported survey of Pentecostal believers showed that in USA 62pc had witnessed faith healing; 56pc had experienced direct revelation from God; and 34 pc had witnessed exorcisms. But in Kenya the figures were 87pc, 57pc, and 86pc - and in Nigeria 79pc, 64pc, and 75pc. That makes USA somewhat deprived, it seems. And the rest of us more so. What have we done wrong? Surely, all we lack is some convincing demonstrations, clearly branded?

Mass hysteria at work there. I don't feel deprived, because I don't feel the need to rip out my hair, speak in tongues, writhe and wriggle on the floor and otherwise degrade myself in public in a dramatic fashion.

i have experienced both in my life ... most of my life was non-pentecostal.
i can positively say that i would NEVER go back.
there was NOTHING to my religious experience before.
i knew nothing compared to now.
i definitely NEVER experienced what i do now.

i have been pentecostal for the last 5 years.
baptized "in JESUS' Name" & filled w/ the Holy Ghost w/ the evidence of speaking in other tongues.

being pentecostal, i have witnessed ...

- 100's of others from the ages of 4 - 80 being saved just like i was (right out of the pages of the book of acts)
- hearing God's audible voice
- hearing God's actual Words through interpretation of tongues.... & knowing the message was directly from God to me as i didn't even know the interpreter & the message pinpointed my situation
- knowing God is REAL & really speaks to us
- understanding there is NO contradiction in God's Word
- many healings
- by having the infilling of God's Spirit, it has totally changed my life & the lives of all my family .... feeling & experiencing the change to "new life" by the power of the Holy Ghost
- experiencing a love, a hunger & a loyalty for the LORD that i never experienced before
- experiencing GREAT praise & worship at church

it is not a "denomination".... it is an experience w/ God ... a way of life.
i would NEVER go back to not knowing & not having.

denominal churches do not experience what the apostles did b/c they don't believe it's possible. i am sad for them. their minds are totally closed.
that's why they don't see the infilling of God's Spirit, or healings, or miracles, or experience the "fire shut up in my bones" feeling that is from the power of the Holy Ghost.

like scripture says in 2 titus 3:5 .... they have a FORM of godliness, but they "DENY THE POWER" of God.
then comes the warning .... "from such turn away".

if you want to know how interactive God is .... read the Book of Acts. it may have been 2000 years ago, but God is the same today, yesterday & forever. you can have it.... it is STILL the same today.
just most people today are afraid to experience God b/c of ridicule, or they simply don't love Him enough to want it & to live for Him.

There are some church homes that are non-denominational yet nevertheless comsider themselves Pentecostal. in the event that they are non-denominational, then they are an autonomous church. some church homes are with a denominational corporation, such because of the fact the Pentecostal Assemblies Of Canada. church homes that are overseen by making use of companies such because of the fact the PAOC are not fairly the holy rollers human beings cause them to out to be. they are extra stiff for the time of provider. the non-denomination Pentecostal church homes are the place you will discover the actual holy rollers society manufacturers as loopy human beings.

My dear cobber, you have seduced me where angels, devils, agnostics, atheists, philosophers, & conflicting religions fear to tread.
Not to offend anyone, but the Virgin Mary has been seen in a donut. People believe in ANYTHING that they wish to believe. Is fear & desperation a reason? Were there surveys done in other countries?
Clearly, (& logically!) if you don't agree, you are WRONG. Except for so much bloodshed in the name of God, let it be. The myths & conflicts of the ages.

What manifests in Pentecostalism is but PART of the STRONG DELUSION SIGNS and WONDERS promised to KEEP peole blinded from the truth. YAHWEH has sent it on people that HATE HIM. IF you LOVED him you would keep HIS commandments. How many Pentecostals have ever celbrated the Scriptural holiday of Pentecost, as Paul did? Not many. How many of those Nigerians are simply after a hand out and therefore put on a big performance. You must remember the adversary forces are not divided if they come and go in the form of even miracles, why, becuase you DO NOT come to Yahweh and His ways when you see these 'signs and wonders', you justify yourself in your pagan beliefs because of these very false signs and wonders. STRONG DELUSION INDEED. >>> AN EVIL AND ADULTEROUS GENERATION SEEKETH AFTER A SIGN<<<<

Yet Pentecostals still make up less than 5% of the Christian population world-wide. As a former Pentecostal, I can safely say no, non-Pentecostals are not missing out.

I believe that those are only numbers you write and that the truth about what is happening in the US and around the world has nothing to do with Pentecostals or not is more with those that are trully living for the Lord and following His commands.

Sure. If you say so. but pentecostals are not the only ones who experience faith based healing. I have, and I'm not pentecostal.

Didn't Jesus say something like, "Those who lack faith ask for a sign."?

It would seem that these places where people have witnessed these things and therfor believe are places filled with people of little faith.

Following doctrine correctly will help and becoming hungry like you never have before will help. Pentecostals follow acts 2:38 most others don't. Makes a difference.
