I found this in some things that had not been opened for I know at least 25 years. Who knows how long before that. I just want to know what it is , what it might have been used for, and a date for it.There are 7 photos total.

A family member got it in asia, who is no longer with us. that's about all we know....

It appears to be a Hmong carpet but the design is one that I have never seen before. I'll ask some other people but thats the best that I can do for now.
