What's a good P2P program that doesn't use so much resources?

There is not a good P2P program!!! They are all loaded with viruses, worms, and spyware. Don't think that your anti-virus software and anti-spyware software will protect you. It will not. There are viruses that shut down such programs rendering you defensless. I have had this problem before.
