Knowing that the Lord will provide for my every need. Additionally, and this is really important to me, if I have the resources and the ability, it brings me joy and comfort to be able to help those who are unable to have their needs met. This is what I consider to be LOVE in ACTION, and not just words, the Bible speaks to this in 1 John 3:17. Folks can claim to be faithful Christians; through worship, prayer, reading their Bibles daily, fellowshipping, etc...but it's their lack of action that comes to be questioned. There is joy and comfort in helping others! Afterall, isn't that what Jesus would do? Have a great day and God bless!

Well, since I am a christian, My authority through Christ who strenghtens me gives me joy and comfort. ( Read "The Believes Authority" By Kenneth Hagin to understand what I mean). Also, The Word of God, which never comes back void is my livlihood! The fact That I am seated in the heavenly places at the right hand of God and have eternal life brings me great joy!Its a comfort to know that prayer does really work regardless of what anyone says-so i guess prayer brings me comfort. "Seek you first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you" Matthew 6:33 from the Bible-I have great joy and comfort in first seeking God and knowing that because I do he will take care of me. I have comfort in knowing that the devil is a defeated foe and under my feet! I am blessed and nothing less, encouraged and never discouraged and completed and never defeated! No weapon formed against me shall prosper including my illness, which the devil(not God) brings! I have comfort in knowing that through Christ i am healed of all afflictions and have joy in sharing that. Amen!

Considering I'm separated from my cheating husband (getting divorced), I have to say I've been more at peace with myself since I've been alone again. There's no more chaos and I enjoy the company of my 3 dachshunds, my family, and goofy friends. I find myself actively looking for positive things to make myself feel good and realize some things are just out of my control and I'll have to deal with things the best way I can. All in all, I'm trying to be as positive as I can despite the obstacles and so far, I'm not doing too bad.

I like to turn off the lights in my bedroom and listen to heavy metal music when I'm mad or if I'm upset about something. But when I'm happy I like to listen to those cds that have like someone playing the flute or the sound of the ocean. They help me relax.I feel comfortable when its dark because the dark kind of washes over me like a wave of calmness I guess. What brings you comfort or are you the only one that is allowed to ask that question?

The Holy Spirit of God brings more comfort than and satisfaction of desires of this body. To be filled with the Spirit of God can last for days weeks or longer. It really is better than making love as it last so long and such a great feeling. When filled with the Spirit its love not Judgement of others

My teenage son named Jonathan- his name means gift of God and he certainly has been the best thing that ever happened to me. He made up for every bad thing that ever happened in my life.
Little kids- I taugh kindergarten and loved it. Who can be sad in the middle of a class of little people who pick you flowers, hug you, say the funniest things and make you feel like a princess when you get to school and your kids cheer and mob you because they love you?
My boyfriend's messy ways, snoring, football watching and all those things other women find annoying. My guy is a firefighter and has a dangerous job. Every day that he comes home alive and well and messes up the house reminds me to be thankful that he is safe and well.
The kindness of strangers as well as being kind to others who I come in contact with.
Laughing and being with my son and his wonderful girlfriend. It brings me happiness to see him so happy with her and so affectionate and sweet.
Music- I love Waylon Jennings/Jessi Colter and Shooter Jennings but you can choose your own.
When bad things happen I remind myself that something good will come of it that never could have happened otherwise. Katrina was the reason I met up again with my bf. We knew each other before casually but hadn't seen each other in years. Katrina came, uprooted our lives and we crossed paths and have been on the same path since then.
We met at the worst of times but we have been lucky to have each other as we start over and make the best of it.

# 1 the LORD, "then," a penny, a nickel, a dime, a quarter, a dollar, five, ten, twenty, fifty and hundred dollar bills. Without them I wouldn't have the joys of a wife, my dogs or the comforts of a home.
