No, absolutely NOT! Google is nothing like God. Why do I say this? Well for one you actually get an answer from Google when you ask a question, and you have a high probability that the answer will be correct. God is usually mute when you ask for answers, and if you do get a response back, it is in all likelihood not him answering, but your own self-deluding mind thinking that he answered you.
Secondly, Google, UNLIKE God, doesn’t ask you to believe in any absurd propositions in order for it to work for you. In that sense, Google, this impersonal search engine, is far more giving then the Yahweh of the Old Testament, the Jesus of the New Testament, or the Allah of the Qu’ran.
There is so many ways in which Google far surpasses God. For you to even think of drawing parallels between Google and God is an insult – TO GOOGLE. LOL

I actually had a friend in college who used this premise for a speech during a debate tournament. She won. +D

Not in the least. With google you get instant answers with god who knows when thats going to happen. You get thousands of answers instantly. god and the bible sadly give a very few.

what a contradiction... smugness and sadness. Is that why you belittle God? Do you blame God. It's been said that the relationship with the earthly father equals the relationship with how people treat God. Don't you know that God has a special place in his heart for women? How can God love you, if you don't love God?
Why don't you tell God how you feel about him. Maybe he'd send someone in your path to show you love/answers.
