Yes, I can see that what you are saying is happening. I am a Canadian, living in Canada, and the same thing is happening here, in various ways. It's a gradual thing.
Fortunately we still have some freedom. For example, on here we can share our beliefs and not get arrested for it. The Bible says that all who will live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution, so we need to make the most of every opportunity to share Christ while we can, because we will be held accountable to God for what we did with what we had, won't we? Much has been given; much will be required. (I am saying this to myself as well.)

Evolution and creationalism are not neccesarily different things.
If you think in terms of "time", so far as the creator is concerned, all things COULD have been created in the blink of an eye. Creationalism.
If you think of "time" so far as WE understand it, that blink of the creators eye could well have taken billions of years to happen.
The two concepts are not mutually exclusive in fact but probably the same thing, one looking at the big picture the other looking at the details of the same picture.

It seems that everything is great until someone publicly mentions Christ in a reverent way or wants to display some symbol of Christianity or spend some government money on something remotely Christian.
Michigan State can build foot washing pools for Muslims with University money on University property but if someone wanted them to erect a cross on the campus it would cause the ACLU to have a heart attack!

I can believe that only evolution is taught. It is based on science. Your religion does not belong in school. You don't see atheists barging into churches and demanding to be heard.
If we allowed teachers to teach about Jesus, than they would have to teach about Muhammad also. The teachers would have to teach children about the Flying Spagetti Monster, and Frankenstein's monster, Dracula and every other damned crazy thing. Go read a book! boooooooo
YOU MAKE NO SENSE! Most of the people coming over the border are Christians. I know this is stereotyping, but it is accurate to say that the majority of Hispanics are Christian.

You said it yourself--"The rightful creator." Our govt. cannot endorse (that's what establish means) a religion. We can and should in world cultures teach the religions of the world, but since public schoool is funded by public money we cannot say one god is the rightful one. We cannot say that atheism is the untrue position. If you want religion taught in the PS it must be all religions without endorsement or dismissal.

Evolution isn't a religion. It is science. You would have to put every religion into a curriculum to keep anyone from suing you which would be impossible.
Should we also be able to discuss zoophilia with the children? Would that not trample on your right to free speech?

You obviously only know what you hear on right wing talk radio, so you probably shouldn't imply that you know the inner workings of a country you don't even live in.

And why should my child be taught about a religion that no one in her family partakes in? What about all the other children who come from diverse backgrounds. YOUR religion is not the one true religion that rules all. Get a grip. Faith, religion, morality should be taught by parents, not school.

As far as i can gather you religious lot seem to have too much of a say in what goes on over there. I"m glad I"m in Britain. You would soon be complaining about our secular country. You would have to blend in with the rest of society here, and not get all your own way.

You managed to get god in the government. Now you want him in the schools. You won't stop until you run the world and then what will you do? You scream persecution all the time. How can their be persecution when you have taken over the government? Greedy!

It always makes me laugh to hear people crying about atheism and liberalism in a country dominated by conservative Christians.
