It doesn't make any sense at all. God is ONE, God is whole and complete. NOT three in one.

He is not half God and half Man, He is fully God and fully Man. He is God who came and dwelt in a Human body. He was the only man who never sinned, but He was tempted in every way, but He never gave in to sin. Therefore, He was the perfect sacrifice. He paid for our sins by dying in our place. He died a death that He did not deserve. On the third day, the Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead and because He lives, we can too! If we turn from our sins and receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then God will give you the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead(Acts 2:38), the Holy Spirit, God Himself.

Christian doctrine maintains that Jesus was not half God and half man - he was completely God and completely man. He was called the "Son of God" for two reasons. One is that the ancient Greeks used the term "Son of God" to refer to anyone who had attained apotheosis, or union with the Divine Mind. In later centuries, Jesus was called the "Son of God" as a Trinitarian doctrine. The Trinity consists of three persons: the Father (the source of the Trinity), the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is not 1/2 God 1/2 God's Son. He's not 1/2 of anything. He's entirely God and entirely God's son. He has human nature and divine nature at the same time.

I believe that particular belief is based off an ancient Pagan belief concerning the wheel of the year. You see, every year the Goddess would give birth to the God. The God would then mature, impregnate the Goddess, and then die. She would then once again give birth to the God again and the cycle goes on and on. Therefore "God" was his own father. This correlates to the Christian myth of Jesus as well. God impregnanted Mary (through immaculate conception) and then Mary gave birth to God/Jesus. He died, then rose again... the only difference is that the cycle ends there.

God created us like him. We have a spirit that dwells in a human body; the same goes for GOD. His spirit dwells in a body called Jesus.
