It's hard to give details, but we are both in a recovery program. How do I tell her I want her, but give her the time she needs?

I never met a man that is too nice. Usually they are liars.

I am so sick of male bull$hit.

With so many people being rotten to their partners, I think a woman would be a straight-up FOOL to give up a NICE person. Too many women attracted to JERKS, and they just aren't worth it!! But if you and this girl are in a recovery program, there isn't much point in pursuing her if she's not gonna be dating anyone for a while...Unless you are willing to wait for months without pressuring her! I'm sure she won't say 'no' because you're nice - but she just isn't taking offers at present.

You are in recovery because you need to do just that...recover. Don't be lookin' to start a relationship right now. Focus on getting your head together and back on track. Good luck sweetie!

While in recovery you aren't suppose to hook up with other people. Leave her alone and focus on your recovery, if you start something now it will not last.

I agree with Panthere. Both of you get well so your relationship has a chance.
