If you are an exempt employee, that is sometimes the bad side of having a salary instead of working hourly. Sorry.

If you are a non-exempt employee, then you should probably be getting some kind of overtime. If you are not, you should contact your local department of labor to complain.

Full time 10 days in a row? With most jobs, you should get some overtime pay for that. If you're just part time, you might not have the 40 hours per week to get overtime, but it's still a tough schedule, although if it's just occasional, during very busy times for your employer, then it might be reasonable.

I've worked more days that that in a row on occasion, and was in a salaried, exempt job where I didn't get paid anything extra for the extra hours - and it's not pleasant.

you always have a choice, unless you are in slave labour of course or working on the railroad over the river kwai. Yah i would think that guy would be pretty pissed off if he had to work 10 days straight.
