That is a little above average. 85 percent of everyone falls below 115.
97.7 percent of everyone falls below 130.
99.8 percent of everyone falls below 145.
I could go more into detail about standard deviations and things like that but I wont. Once you get older, you'll understand what that means. Here is a good web page that talks about the basics of IQ.

If that's on an IQ test designed for an adult (as I assume it was), that's pretty good. It means your sister did a little better than the average adult, which is pretty good if you're 12. Her score may well be higher by the time she grows up. Even though IQ tests are supposed to measure reasoning ability, not knowledge, as the above person mentions, your ability to reason is expected to improve between 6 and 12, and between 12 and adulthood.
If the test factors age in, it's pretty average. (Some tests for kids factor age in because you wouldn't expect the average 6 year old and an average 12 year old to get the same number of questions right.)
Most IQ tests are set up to give the average person a score of 100. Most people are supposed to fall within 15 points of 100.

Here is the skinny on her IQ she is very average sorry to burst your bubble, not to say that is not good, most people fall between the range of 85-115 your sister is just above the middle. Her IQ will not change with age it may go up or down by 1 or 2 pts but that is it. Now where did she take this quiz? Was it on the net? Those things are crap! The only one that is kinda close to the real thing can be found here:

it is just for fun but it will give you an idea of where you stand!

If that is a test for adults, she did a heck of a job if it is for 12 year olds that is still slightly above average if it is for adults she is at about 130-140(educated guess :) ).Having an iq over 140 is bad for preteens and teens then you will be called a geek( take me for example stinks to be 11 and have an iq of 163)

Your sister's IQ is slightly above average. 100 is average, and most people fall between 85 and 115.
Also, your IQ doesn't change with age. It's not a measure of how much you know, but how well you can reason and use logic to arrive at an answer.

It is average. Our son was 8 and took an IQ test- he scored 140. He is now 11 and we were offered to take another and declined. I don't put much faith in those things.
Our son has autism and though he is very bright, I don't want him to think he is so smart that he doesn't have to work- because he does.

well if it makes your sis feel good tell her my 27 yr old brother just did an IQ test and only scored 104,lol i knew being older meant i was smarter, just kidding but really that was his score. I only score a 117 on most of them give or take a couple digits so your sister is doing pretty good i think.

100 is average, ad your IQ should not change much throughout your life.
I don't know exactly how much above the average this amkes her; I know 140 is amazing (better than 99% of everyone else). I know someone whose IQ was 90 and she was really dumb.

That's an average IQ. However, it doesn't mean anything, because to be even remotely correct, she would need to take a test that has been proven to be accurate. Anyone can make up a quiz and call it an IQ test.
