I was recently told by two people that during World War 2 in dire times of need Tawain coconut milk was used to give for blood transfusions. Has anyone heard this before, and if so is there any documentation you can find on it? I've searched everywhere. Thanks for any help!

I've herd that also that it mimics plasma.

# Coconut water is identical to human blood plasma which makes it the universal donor. Plasma makes up 55% of human blood. By drinking coconuts we give ourselves a instant blood transfusion.
# Many peoples lives have been saved in 3rd world countries by the coconut IV.

Coconut water is the best sports drink. It is also a good substitute for blood. Chilled coconut water is the best soft drink in summer.
