So, I get answers about meteorologists not being scientists.....great spinning, I think I'm getting dizzy! The other excuse I get: 99.8% (insert your number here) agree that global warming is real. Really? I don't think so. Give me a CREDIBLE source that gives this statistic.

Al Gore knows damn well, just as well as you and me, that global warming is bullsh!t. Here it is:
Looking for a cure for AIDS is big business. Finding a cure for AIDS is no business, just like...
Trying to prove global warming is man-caused is big business, and proving global warming is not man-caused is no business.
Algore has turned this whole thing into such a moneymaker that he can't give it up now. How's he making money on it, you ask? Well, for starters, he is the main stockholder in the company that sells these so-called "carbon credits." Secondly, he's garnering a whole lot of attention for the Democratic party by jamming a stick up our @sses, breaking it off, and telling us he has the tool that will heroically extract the broken part. (Meaning he's created something that is a problem only the Democrats can fix, so you'd better elect them for your own good.) And I'm frankly beginning to wonder at this point if the DNC isn't PAYING him to do it.

I was interested in your own sources. Since you didn't provide them, I found an article in the Telegraph. But before I saw it I also saw this: http://climate.weather.com/news/?cm_ven=one_deg_news&cm_ite=one_deg_header&from=one_deg_header
It is a link to the Weather Channel on line, weather.com, with a number of links that seem to imply the reality of climate change. Looks to me as if he may believe one thing and sell another.
I don't know what the weather channel guy really believes, but at very least, he looks like a hypocrite to me. What would Al Gore think? I don't know that, either. He might suspect that the guy is trying to have it both ways so he can market his product, the Weather Channel.

Al Gore does not need to prove global warming. He just wants to use it as his political tool. Credible scientists (which does include meteorologists) have always known that global warming is a hoax. No one can find a credible statistic that 98% of scientists believe in global warming because the real number does not even come close to 50%. We have to stop mixing science and politics.

I don't think he loses any sleep about it. He has been challenged to a debate by many respectible scientists and he has refused thus far.
Even a liberally minded judge in UK ordered his movie can't even be shown to the children in UK unless there is a disclaimer regarding at least 11 lies that are told in the movie.
It is historically proven that conntries that industrialize and develope eventually turn towards cleaning up those industries because....quite logically..no one wants to live in a pig sty. We might need a watchdog group here and there, and America is full of them, what we don't need is the Al Gore chicken littles running around causing hysteria. We've never needed these people to point out the problems. These kind of people have never resolved or solved a problem either.
Meanwhile, if you follow the money, you will find that Al Gore and many of the activists are rich. You can't blame corporations for jumping on the band wagon, because they are in the business of making money. They just saw it as a profit making opportunity. What I would like is the right to sue all the kooks and government agencies that co-conspired or folded on the issue and made everything that touched my life more expensive. 20 years or so from now, when we find that man made global warming was non - existant, I want my money back.
Medical inhalers are 3 times the price they use to be, Corn Ethanhol has pushed the price up on anything corn related...whether it be cattle that's fed by corn to corn syrup.

He is the only one who will not be funded by the Government for research to continue the possibility of Global Warming. That in itself says a lot.

The simple fact is that if Gore is wrong all that would happen is we shift from a carbon burning world to a carbon neutral world, not a bad idea in any case, unless you make your money from oil.
If Gore is right and we do nothing, then the stakes go up quite a bit. The devastation could be worse than any of Hollywood's
"Disaster Flicks."
So take your choice, invest in renewable energy, conserve as much as possible, and rethink our wasteful ways...
Or do nothing, keep on just the way we are, remain a slave to oil, and hope nothing bad happens. Hell, 25% of the earths surface flooded, no big deal, right?

The day some global warming nut explained to me that record cold temperatures and cold snaps were a sign of global warming I threw the whole thing into alarmism. But the warmers will say that this individual is on the rights payroll or that he is being subsidized by the oil companies. This news won't make them blink or re-evaluate.
My thing against global warming is things go in cycles and we will have another cold spell. When that happens people will forget about warming and start in the bad ecological habits a lot possess and if there is a big problem then it will be ignored and exacerbated when it happens.

What happened to the 'ice age' we where headed into in the 70s? Couldn't be over that quick. Who knows, but people on both sides. Now do you think Hill will want him as VP or Bill? Also shouldn't he run? This will be like evolution. What about the ozone layer? It does make sense if we cut forrest and burn gasoline it would mess stuff up, but China is doing that with are American corporations that moved over there. Might want to study them. Take care and answer some questions we miss ya..

We all need to do our part,in spite of what the Weather Channel founder says. I think we all need to follow Al Gore's example by making our "Carbon Footprint" as large as possible. If we all had private jets we too could help put more CO2 into the air,Al Gore is trying to lead by example, why aren't we following?
Oh wait we're supposed to reduce CO2,okay Al Gore's a jackass, just as I always thought. Never mind.
