Perhaps he just doesn't want to have to carry around her emotional baggage. A man 15 years older does not have time, nor does he want to have to play psychologist to someone who is too immature to know that each guy is different.

Basically, please try not to date someone 15 years older. I know that some people say that age is just a number, but it's not. The gap is almost alwayz too much, and they are not on the same page. 2nd off, if you are still very young (middle school or HS), this is ESPECIALLY true, because they know a lot of stuff that you only THINK that you do, and they know this. They play on it. It's what they do, and it sucks but it's true. As for telling a new guy about why you can't trust him, all you really need to say is that you had a guy hurt you in the past and so you want to take everything really slow. He does not need to know every detail. When you get older, there will be more guys who can handle that better, but while young, a lot of guys are just not emotionally mature enough for that yet. Don't feel like you have to tell something like that and don't let anyone pressure you to do it either. It's YOUR business. not their's. Remember that. One more thing; if you were involved with a predator, it might not be a bad idea to look into some coundeling later on to help you get over it. I was too, and it can go a long way in helping you heal. Good Luck Hon.

Say the words and deal with the consequences. If he's into her that much, then it was meant to be.
