i'm 16, and i have been going out with this girl for a few months. she is pretty shy, but i really like her and we have tons of fun together, but it feels like this other friend of ours is always hanging around. i asked her about it and she said that she doesn't like it and finds it annoying. but lately it feels like he's getting more and more of her attention. she is still affectionate with me, so am i just overacting?

OMG!! DUDE!! Don't break up with the girl for that, just DONT! If you guys have something special than don't throw away because of that silly thing. Did she dump you yet? Are they making out? Planning to get engaged? Stop worrying, it'll just ruin tomarrow's happiness. You SAID she was "Shy", and shy people get intrested in other peoples lives because they don't have guts to say SHUT UP!! So maybe you got the wrong idea dude. Stop over-reacting & call her up tell her she's "Pretty Nifty" LOL ^_^

Not yet- wait it out a little longer. You said that it was a mutual friend didn't you? Could be that she is trying to overcome her issues with this person since he is also a friend of yours. It could be that she is making an effort to be friends with someone that you view as a friend- which is a good sign. However, don't let your guard down- if things start feeling wrong with the situation, then you'll need to confront her about it.

Well answere is simple. Get rid of him, and not her. She likes you but she's getting too used to him hanging around. That's it. It's not her fault there's an annoying dude in your relationship.

Maybe you should tell him to back off a little. You and her need a little space. If he sais no than i hate to say he's not your friend.

make time away from the other person, three is a crowd! then you'll be able to assess her behaviour towards you, a couple should always have their own time, its the only way you can really communicate intimately! good luck!

i think communication is the problem.

ask her...since you stated that "she is still affectionate w/ me," then she probably still likes you...then...no worries.
