Paul in 1 Cor. 8, tells the Church not to be a "stumbling block" to your "weaker" brothers.

What is he is saying don't do something that you know to be ok in front of a brother who's conscience would be violated by doing the same thing. What are some modern examples of this?

I'm at brunch. I want a Mimosa. I'm sitting with another Christian and I say to them, would you mind if I had a Mimosa? And they say, you know it would make me uncomfortable. I say, then I won't.

We need to be sensitive to our sisters and brothers in Christ.

It also doesn't necessarily mean someone is weaker or stronger; the verse means to consider another's feelings in making choices.
