I'm going to Rainforest Cafe for my sister's birthday and I looked up the menu online. The healthiest thing that I saw was pasta with a choice of sauce, marinara or alfredo. Which is the healthier choice? Thanks!

Recently tomato's have been found to be very healthy. Marinara is basically all tomato's and spices. Very simple, and less calories.

There are tomato sauces that have pieces of tomato's, along with some veggies like carrots, bell peppers, onions, garlic and mushrooms, that's chunky style, or Primavera style. This is what I call healthy.
Cream sauces are very fattening, and that's what Alfredo is made of, plus thickened with lots of Parmesan cheese.
Now it is your choice.

the marinera...alfredo is full of fat and most is saturated..marinera desnt have much fat or calories and barely any are saturated(but it all depends on what they put in it-different marinera sauces vary...
