Don't let the HR moron fool you. They aren't that important. They are there to push the paper. They don't make the final decision, despite what they would like you to believe. The manager with the vacant position has the final say.

Besides, where else should a person work who can't be trusted with operations or finance and who can't sell?

I am very offended by your question because my mother is a human resources manager who happens to have a bachelors degree and her MBA. She is one of the smartest women I know and she loves her job and takes it very seriously. Her job is to pick an employee who will best fill that position. HR persons know their company and its needs. You can have all the experience in the world and not be right for that specific position. Really that person you claim to be a "moron" could have done you a favor by not putting you in a place you don't belong.

You and some of the others here sound like you have a very over-inflated sense of self importance. Im an operations manager in the healthcare field and have been for over 25 years, and you sound like the type I need my hr manager to keep from wasting my time.

Gee, I wonder why they wouldn't hire someone like you! You have an over-inflated ego, with excellent ability to put down others you dont know!

You sound like a steal to me! Maybe I should tell my moron HR rep to hire you!

What an @ss-et to your future company!

Because qualifications are only a part of the picture. I wouldn't hire anyone who couldn't work well with me and my colleagues.
